Electrical power has been a universal basic drive towards better living. Among the various sources of energy, electrical energy has contributed a lot to the world's energy requirement. Electrical power system in modern era has created a need to improve its operation and control for efficient and secure utilization. With this objective the International Conference “ICEPES 2010” aims to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians and industrial professionals to present and discuss the most recent advances, trends, and development activities in Electrical Power and Energy Systems.
